The Yeast Dissection Scopes are used for dissecting budding yeast from the mother during Replicative Lifespan (RLS) experiments.

Notes and Warning: Be wary of the the needle used for the dissection because it can puncture the media of the yeast plate being worked with if one is not paying attention. Always check the needle before use.
Equipment maintenance: Ensure that the needle is aligned properly with the plate. Make sure needle is attached to the dissecting apparatus on the scope.
