PCR strips are made for use in the PCR machine (thermocycler). They come in strips of 8, with separate cap strips. They are used for running boils and PCRs during the PCR protocol.

To do this, take a picture of the reagent on the shelf, save it on to the shared computer 'mccormicklab1>Wiki-Documents and Figures> Pictures for WIki with a file name of “nameofequipment-image.png” . Select “Add images and other files” from above and upload your image. When the Link Settings tab pops up, select “Direct link to original”, “Align the image on the right” and “Medium Version”, then click insert. You may have to mess with the size and position. Please ensure that all images are facing the correct direction. ]

Notes and Warning: The strips have numbers printed onto them, but they are very faint. It is best if you write numbers on your strips in a DARK sharpie to prevent any confusion with your tubes.
