Vacuum Pump

Description
The vacuum pump is used in order to aspirate out supernatants, vacuum filter reagents, or for the vacuum manifold that is used in the Mini Prep protocol.
Location:Fume Hood
Notes and Warning: Always remove the small black cap and cover the vent with a 50mL conical tube before starting. This will prevent aerosolized oil drops from getting into your sample.
Equipment maintenance: Fill oil to line as needed. Oil lives behind the pump and under the hood
