The -20°C Freezer is where a number of reagents, PCR kits, drugs and drug stock solutions are stored as well as DNA (primers, PCR products, plasmids, salmon sperm, etc)
Notes and Warning: Wear nitrile gloves when getting reagents out of the -20°C Freezer in order to avoid freezer burn. Do not leave the door open for an extensive amount of time.
Equipment maintenance: Scrape any excess ice using the ice scraper that is attached to the side of the -80°C Freezer. If ice build up becomes excessive, move contents of the freezer to another and defrost.
