M9

Description


M9 solution is used when working with worms. It is used in Freezing Worm Strains.

Location:✱ Notes and Warning: M9 should be clear in appearance; if cloudy or otherwise unusual, make a new stock. Notes and Warning: Make sure you are using the hydrated form of all the reagents. ===== Media Recipe and Directions===== Directions - 1 L - Label a 1L beaker with media, initials, and date. Add a stir bar. - Fill with 1/4 of the MilliQ H2O - Add Na2HPO4*7H2O, KH2PO4, NaCl, and MgSO4*7H2O. Stir until all solid has dissolved. - Add additional MilliQ H2O to reach the desired volume. - Pour into labeled bottles. Autoclave.
