We use FUDR in worm lifespans. FUDR is a DNA synthesis inhibitor. When given to L4/young adult worms, it will prevent them from laying eggs that will hatch. We use 10x FUDR in lifespan experiments. FUDR has been shown to increase explosions in lifespans.
We keep a 100mM solution in the -20°C freezer.
