Treating Slides with ConcanavalinA

1) ConcanavalinA is stored in the -20°C freezer in the box labeled “ConcanavalinA.” Allow it to thaw.

2) Clean glass microscope slides with 95% ethanol and a kimwipe. Clean coverslips as well. Only handle the edges.

3) Add 5 μL of ConA solution to slide, spreading around with pipette tip. Place slides in a container to protect from dust. Allow to dry for approximately 20 minutes

4) Once dry, add 3 μL cell suspension.

5) Place coverslips over slides, pressing down slightly

6) Seal cover slip with clear nail polish
