To make dropout plates you need to measure out:

1. 1.7g Yeast nitrogen Base (the one without ammonium sulfate or nutrients)
2. 5g Ammonium sulfate
3. 20g Sunrise (or BD) Agar
4. 1.4g of the premixed SC or dropout powder

• all of which is mixed in 1L of water
• make sure that a stir bar and a little water are placed in the flask you're using beforehand so that everything will mix properly.
• after adding and mixing the ingredients, pH to 5.9
• stick the mixture in the autoclave.
• after autoclave:

add 40mL 50% glucose from our stock solution using a stipette.
