50% PEG is used in a number of transformation protocols including episomal transformation and high efficiency transformations.

Warnings This is very viscous! Pipette slowly.

Directions

• Add 1/4 the final volume milli-Q water into a labeled beaker with a stir bar
• Add the appropriate amount of PEG to the beaker and mix until dissolved
• Add water to the final volume
• Filter sterilize into labeled bottles
