One is at 42°C and is used during transformations for the heat shock step. The other is set to 95°C and is used to boil salmon sperm during transformations. Always check the temperature of the heat block before starting on a protocol in case you need to make any adjustments. If you need to change the temperature of a block, be sure the change it back to 42°C or 95°C as soon as you are done. {{:95c_heat_block_image.jpg?200|}} {{ ::42c_heat_block_image.jpg?200|}} **Location:** Center of main lab bench {{ ::heat_block_map.png?200 |}} **Notes and Warning:** The 95°C Heat Block is incredibly hot, do not touch!
