The 5810R Refrigerated Centrifuge is used for spinning down samples in 50mL tubes, 15mL tubes and in microtiter plates. We currently have a fixed angle rotor with 50mL and 15mL adapters and a swinging bucket rotor that with 50mL, 15mL, and microtiter plate buckets.

**Notes and Warning:** Always make sure that the centrifuge is balanced for type of tube, volume and tube location whenever using a centrifuge.  

**Equipment maintenance:** Please clean the rotors with 70% EtOH after using. Always clean out any spills. When using the centrifuge on low temperatures, allow the centrifuge to dry out by leaving the lid open.
